Designed with the Chinese market in mind, the Pathfinder Concept blends modern Chinese aesthetics with Nissan-ness and is developed to suit the lifestyles of active users. The exterior design has been revamped to realize a spacious interior space with three rows of seats, and various information can be displayed on the ultra-wide display and head-up display.

Heb het idee dat de Chinese Pathfinder eerder een flink aangepaste Infiniti QX60 dan een Noord-Amerikaanse Pathfinder is. De QX60 wordt ook in China gebouwd voor de lokale markt, maar de verkopen zijn extreem slecht ( https://www.chinamobil.ru/eng/cars/infiniti/infiniti-qx60/sales/ ) en het voortbestaan van het merk in China lijkt me ook niet echt zeker. Alleen de verouderde Q50 doet het nog aardig. Concurrent Acura van Honda trok zich recent al terug van de Chinese markt.

Terug naar de Pathfinder Concept op Auto Shanghai - die er veel overtuigender uitziet dan de QX60 wat mij betreft.
