Sweden’s tiny Uniti One electric vehicle has been revealed in production guise and first deliveries to customers in the UK and Sweden will commence in mid-2020. The electric vehicle, crowdfunded last year and previewed with an eye-catching concept, will go on sale in the UK for £15,100 (US$19,043) after the £3,500 (US$4,414) government subsidy.
Two variants are available. The base model is fitted with a small 12 kWh battery that’s good for 93 miles (150 km) of range from a single charge, while a larger 24 kWh battery is available and extends the range to 186 miles (300 km). That’s seriously impressive for a battery pack of this size and there’s no doubt that the One’s total weight of just 600 kg (1,322 lbs) plays a significant role in the equation.
