On February 17, Mitsuoka Motor began accepting pre-orders for the "Viewt story," the successor to the "Viewt." The Story, which will start pre-orders, is the first Viewt-series to adopt a Toyota Motor vehicle as a base vehicle, and a hybrid model is also available. The price starts at 3,080,000 yen, and is scheduled to be announced and released in the fall of 2023. The model lineup includes 1.5-liter gasoline vehicles "15LX" and "15DX", 1.0-liter gasoline vehicles "10LX" and "10DX", and 1.5-liter hybrid vehicles "HYBRID LX" and "HYBRID DX". This special edition model, the first since the birth of the Viewte Story, combines three chic body colors that were particularly popular in the past Viewte series with leather interior seats that give an elegant impression. The special body colors, which differ from the earthy colors of the standard car, are "Royal Green," which evokes the mysterious green of deep mountains, "Royal Red," which expresses the crimson of passion like burning love, and "Royal White," which resembles a noble and graceful white lily, creating a more elegant atmosphere befitting the name Royal Edition. 光岡自動車は7月3日、特別仕様車「ビュート ストーリー ロイヤルエディション」を発表した。7月4日～12月21日に期間限定で注文を受け付けるが、台数に限りがあるため予定台数に達し次第終了となる。価格は385万円～513万4800円。
