Chevrolet heeft de derde generatie Traverse gepresenteerd. De eerste twee generaties van de grootste crossover van Chevrolet verschenen in respectievelijk 2008 en 2017.

Technology takes center stage as drivers will find themselves sitting behind a larger 11-inch digital instrument cluster. It’s joined by a massive 17.7-inch infotainment system, which is a whopping 10.7 inches larger than the previously standard display.

Under the hood, the 3.6-liter V6 has been replaced by an all-new turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder. Officials didn’t say much about it, but the engine produces an estimated 315 hp (235 kW / 319 PS) and 317 lb-ft (429 Nm) of torque.

Those are some impressive numbers and they easily beat the old V6, which packed 310 hp (231 kW / 314 PS) and 266 lb-ft (360 Nm) of torque. The increase in torque is particularly notable and the crossover is more powerful than the Kia Telluride and Honda Pilot.
